It’s not meant to be easy
Everyone wants success, but how many people really understand what it takes to get there? I want to normalize how learning and growth feel, because in order to achieve authentic success you must be willing to face the discomfort, frustration and negative thought patterns that often emerge when you are reaching for more. Rarely do I hear people discuss what that process actually looks and feels like. Social media will tell you a morning yoga sesh or drinking coffee outdoors is the holy grail of self-care and living a zen life. However, as a life coach, mother, wife and person who is still doing “the work,” I can assure you it’s not that easy. However, with consistency and practice, an undeniable beauty emerges from the wreckage of life’s many challenges. This comes when we are brave enough to lean-in when we so badly want to run away!
Find the Edge
In order to make progress, we must find the edge of discomfort within our stretch and lean in a bit. The same is true when we find ourselves facing a challenge, fear, anxiety or limiting belief.
Let’s walk through it together and cultivate greater resilience and become more capable.feel more connected and honor our experiences in life. This cultivates deeper connection and allows us to live from a place of great strength!
Dream On
Dreaming is the basis for truly living, because it’s tied to our purpose and fulfillment in life. If you have gotten away from dreaming in your day-to-day, I invite you back home to that part of you that you knew so well as a child. Today is a fresh opportunity to begin again and live from a deeply connected part of yourself.
Are You Present?
The loud, distracting world we live in isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, therefore, it’s up to us as individuals to bring presence and connection into our lives and recognize how deeply we need it. We are humans, we all struggle with this topic and getting back to the basics is a powerful way to take control of the controllable.
